Extending mandatory pay gap reporting to ethnicity and disability

In March 2025, the government launched a consultation on the introduction of mandatory ethnicity and disability pay reporting for large employers (those with 250 or more employees), with the aim of shaping proposals for the upcoming Equality (Race and Disability) Bill.
