Ethnic Equality In Raising Worries And Concerns

The implementation of ‘Martha’s Rule’ and other elements of NHS England’s Worries and Concern programme were addressed in a roundtable hosted by the NHS Race and Health Observatory in May 2024.

This briefing highlights how interventions can be scaled to support the healthcare system and ensure Black, Asian, and ethnic minority communities, patients, families, and carers feel safe in raising concerns over care provided for acute illnesses & deterioration.
