About the role:

Implementation Manager

The NHS Race and Health Observatory are looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to lead the delivery of our implementation programme. You’ll manage projects that enable the NHS and partners to put our evidence-based recommendations into practice, addressing racial and ethnic inequalities in health and workforce.

As Implementation Manager for the NHS Race and Health Observatory, the role will include:

  • Managing the operational delivery of the Observatory’s implementation programme, embedding the RHO toolkit to drive and measure progress on evidence-based recommendations.
  • Facilitating cross-organisational and stakeholder collaboration to implement recommendations from RHO reports and translate them into system-wide impact.

About the role:

Implementation Project Manager

As Implementation Project Manager for the NHS Race and Health Observatory you will manage the day to day delivery of the Perinatal Equity and Anti-Discrimination Programme (PEADP) working with partners and NHS maternity teams across 158 sites.

From planning and governance to risk management and reporting, you’ll keep this ambitious programme on track and ensure impact at scale.

This role will include:

  • Leading project delivery to time, cost, and quality standards
  • Coordinating programme management activities, including meetings, project tools, documentation, governance, risks, and dependencies to support effective delivery.

About the role:

Implementation Team Officer

The NHS Race and Health Observatory is driving change to tackle racial and ethnic inequalities in health and care. We’re looking for an Implementation Team Officer to provide vital support to our Implementation team.

You’ll support the team to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively every day—coordinating meetings and events, managing diaries, handling enquiries, and supporting finance and communications.

As Implementation Team Officer for the NHS Race and Health Observatory you will:

  • Keep the Implementation team moving smoothly by coordinating diaries, meetings, travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements.
  • Be the first point of contact for external enquiries to the Implementation team, providing professional responses and escalating issues when needed.
